The saying “consistency is the key to success” had never been truer. For the fifth consecutive year, we delivered 1,000 testers annually, bringing the total to an astonishing 8,000 testers in May 2025. This achievement spoke for itself — the years of dedication to precision engineering and a relentless pursuit of excellence. It was, not just a number, but a testament to our customers’ trust in AccoTEST as a key enabler for the advancement of semiconductor test technologies worldwide.
This year, the Known Good Die (KGD) test took centre stage. While ensuring a chip works prior to its integration may sound simple, its execution, is anything but that. Mainly, due to the complexity of ‘handling’ silicon carbide and increasing performance demands. This is where our consistency-focused commitment came into place. With each of our engineers meticulously refining KGD testing, we could anticipate the industry’s next curve.
In the TECHstage spotlight, Adrian Kok, our very own Principal Power Test, not only gave a brief introduction, but also a 101 lesson on KGD, from industry needs and challenges to solutions. In addition, we also demonstrated our dual-die test technology, which seamlessly integrated DC and AC power into a single outlet. With a remarkable throughput of over 4,000 UPH, the STS8200 AXE-PM promised not only efficiency, but more importantly quality, reliability and tangible cost savings for the next wave of applications. With its yield-orientated design, this tester shortened time to market and ultimately improved the quality of end devices for the users.
SEMI’s slogan “Stronger Together”, was very well received. Apart from being a showcase, SEMICON SEA presented opportunities for stakeholders to, not only, built deep connections, and explored new ways of working together. The collective conversations made during this event reinforced a core belief: robust and scalable testing solutions were what drive customers’ ambitions.
